ANTI-OBAMA, PRO-HILLARY CLINTON, ANTI-BUSH MERCHANDISE
BurnBush2004.com This is the site of a fellow anti-Bu$her and it has lots of clever designs. Please stop by his shop and take a look around; if you're anti-$hrub you're sure to find something you like.
NBY First Amendment Shoppe We really like this site! Great designs, lots of imagination and, most importantly,
ANTI-Bush! While we'd love to sell you our designs, we do hope you'll also take a look
at this very clever web site and send some business their way, too.
A Rose is a Rose This is another great anti-Bu$h site; it has some of the best designs we've seen.
If you're as fervently anti-$hrub as we are, you really must take a look!
BeatBushGear.com If you're anti-Bush--and anyone in their right mind should be--do yourself
a favor and drop in on this site. They have some great anti-Bu$h slogans
and designs, and you won't be disappointed.
Politics and Culture: From the Left You'll find lots of stuff here to fill your anti-Bush/anti-right cravings.
We like this site a lot and highly recommend it.
American Voice Anti-Bush, pro-democracy merchandise. Unique designs you won't find anywhere else. This site has an extensive selection of clever, relevant anti-Bush designs, along with pro-Hillary and other pro-democracy items.
JeremyInc.com: Funny Custom Printed Toilet Paper This site has a line of funny toilet paper that is in full color. They also can custom print any picture that you submit to them. We love their Bush toilet paper! It's in their "Enemies" section.
Dress Donkey We like this site, although they're supporting Obama and we're more of the Clinton type. :) But they're definitely anti-Bush, and that's good enough for me! They're still pretty new but are adding designs all the time. If you're looking for merchandise for the discriminating Democrat, pop on over and have a look!
ANTI-OBAMA, PRO-HILLARY CLINTON, POLITICAL, AND ANTI-"RIGHT" SITES
HillaryClintonForum.net This is my favorite site! It started out early in 2008 as a safe haven for intelligent discussion about Hillary Clinton, without the presence of Obamabots spewing their standard, contrived Obamabot rhetoric. It's turned into much more than that, however, as it's grown to include calls to action, planning and strategizing for various events, and brainstorming on how to keep the delusional, unqualified, downright frightening Barack Hussein Obama out of the White House. Please drop in and join us!
NOBAMA Network Nobama Network is a portal site designed to bring together the Grass Roots Movements in America spawned by outrage over the actions of the DNC disenfranchising voters, reassigning delegates, selecting their illegitimate Nominee and diminishing the most basic factor that makes America great, our right to vote and be heard!
VoteToImpeach.org PLEASE visit this site! There are petitions you can sign if you're one of the millions of Americans who see BushCo for what it is--a bunch of lying, deceitful scumbags--and want to see him/them removed from office. There's plenty of information, including dates and locations of upcoming protests.
US Troops Killed in Iraq Now that the lying deserter will be in office for another four miserable
years, I think we should all take a moment to reflect on the THOUSANDS of
people dying needlessly in Iraq thanks to him. As I write this (on 01/13/06),
2,214 US troops have died...so far. I hope the pathetic idiots who voted for
this scumbag will at least have a tiny pang of guilt over these needless deaths.
But probably not...after all, they supported a deserter over a war hero and,
if that wasn't enough, they even tried to discredit Kerry's service record.
That's pretty pathetic when you stop and think about it--they support a
deserter and try to discredit a war hero. Go figure. I guess that's an
example of what being a right-wing nutcase does to one's brain.
Program on International Policies This site has an astonishing assortment of facts that will make your
jaw drop. Take a look at their stats on what Republican supporters of Bu$h
THINK he supports vs what he ACTUALLY supports and what they BELIEVE is true
vs what is ACTUALLY true. For example, they actually believe that the 9/11
report determined that there were WMDs in Iraq. Really...
George W Bush's Resume Take a look at the VERY IMPRESSIVE accomplishments Bush has under his belt. I promise you'll
be amazed. Certainly not just ANY President can manage such a storied past!
One Thousand Reasons NOT to vote for Bush We're aware that the election is over, but the PLETHORA of reasons not to support
the deserting liar seem more important than ever now. Sure, it's too late to
do anything about the outcome of the election, but the tons of accurate information,
including source links, found on this site are important and deserve to be seen.
And, as always, we think it's UNPATRIOTIC to support someone who not only used his
daddy's influence to avoid being shipped overseas during the Vietnam war, but even
WITH THAT privilege he went AWOL. If you're a REAL veteran and you voted for
the lying deserter, how do you live with yourself?
SmirkingChimp.com Wow! What a resource this site is. If you're part of the vast LEFT-wing
conspiracy, as we are, you're going to love this site. In case anyone's
wondering what connection there is between a smirking chimp and anti-Bush
sites...think about it. (Or see the next listing.)
BushOrChimp.com The photos on this site are hilarious--and accurate! I never realized how
chimp-like $hrub is until I compared all of these photographs. See for yourself!
Bushisms.com You'll laugh your ass off reading the utterly STUPID quotes that have come
out of the idiot's mouth! Well, you'll either laugh or cry...after all, it is
very sad that such a moron is really our president.
DogsHateBush.com Take a look at the dogs whose parents have submitted their pictures to this
site. You see, even dogs are smart enough to know that it's simply not
right to support a lying, deserting, imbecilic hatemonger. Our dogs are, of
course, featured; we'll leave it up to you to figure out which ones they are.
ShirtsAgainstBush.com What can I say?! This is a terrific site with hundreds of different
t-shirts from around the web. Of course, with a name like ShirtsAgainstBush.com,
you can probably guess what type of designs you're going to find there!
AntiWar.com Your best source for antiwar news, viewpoints and activities. Be sure to visit the
Casualties of War page for an up-to-date
body count of US troops killed in Bush's senseless war.
Sorry Everybody This is great: A site devoted to pictures of Americans apologizing to the
rest of the world for the insanity that happened on election day. Please
have a look!
The Clinton Global Initiative is a project of the William J. Clinton

interdependence. To advance this mission, the Foundation has developed

HEALTH AND WELLNESS/PRO-CHOICE
Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation Elizabeth Glaser, wife of actor Paul-Michael Glaser, died of AIDS in 1994; their daughter,
Ariel, preceded her in death. But Elizabeth didn't let her illness stop her, and in
1988 she co-founded the Pediatric AIDS Foundation, later renamed to include her name in its
title. This web site offers resources for those dealing with HIV/AIDS, opportunities for
people wanting to volunteer, and much more.
AIDS Project Los Angeles APLA is one of the oldest HIV/AIDS organizations in this country. Their web site offers a
lot of helpful information as well as opportunities for volunteers, both at a lay and
professional level.
Planned Parenthood Don't be fooled by the right-wing rhetoric against Planned Parenthood! They'd have you believe
that Planned Parenthood exists for no other reason than to coerce women into having abortions.
Of course this is utter nonsense, but--believe it or not!--there really are people who are
gullible enough to buy into it. In truth, Planned Parenthood offers many services that have
absolutely NOTHING to do with abortion, such as: prenatal care, adoption referrals, sex education,
health care for men, women, and teenagers, parenting classes and workshops, and more.
Medical Students for Choice This group of educated, intelligent, and enlightened physicians-to-be are
taking a stand to ensure that we continue to have well-trained, reputable
providers available to perform safe abortions.
Elroy.net This site has a collection of thought-provoking essays by its author
Brian Elroy McKinley. For example, you'll find an incredible list of arguments
as to why abortion is moral,
and why abortion is Biblical,
along with one of our favorites on how
to fight the religious "right". Honestly, there's so much here you can
literally spend hours perusing it.
Abortion is Pro-Life While the so-called "pro-life" side will argue ad nauseam that abortion is anti-LIFE, anti-WOMAN, anti-CHILD, etc., this site takes a different tact. It argues that abortion is actually pro-life, and gives lots of reasons why. Definitely worth spending some time browsing.
NARAL Pro-Choice America What can we say about NARAL? Without them, who knows what would've happened to women's reproductive rights by now? With right-wing nutcases such as Bush and his Health and Human Services appointee, Eric Keroack (who will be in charge of the family planning program--and who opposes birth control and abortion rights), we cannot afford to become apathetic now. Please visit NARAL's web site, contribute if you can, and do whatever else you can to make sure women in America continue having the right to safe, legal abortions and birth control.
Aflac complaint page Don't be fooled by the ads that are continually broadcast by Aflac; based on MY experience, this company cannot be trusted! If you have some time to kill and want to read a looooooooong, very comprehensive account of my experience being screwed by Aflac, have a look! The long and short of it is that I paid for a disability policy with them only to find out that Aflac lies, Aflac sucks, Aflac denies benefits, yet they PROMISED that they were going to pay.
ANIMAL RIGHTS, ANTI-HUNTING, VEGETARIAN/VEGAN, ENVIRONMENT
Downbound.com The name Downbound signifies an ideological movement down the corporate ladder, down the food chain, and down to earth. Globalization policies, corporate power, and consumer complicity all contribute to a world that seems to ignore human rights, animal rights, the environment, and numerous other concerns. Downbound stands firmly in favour of alternatives to abusive labour conditions, animal exploitation, and environmentally unsustainable practices. All of our products are fair labour, vegan, and as environmentally friendly as possible. Downbound does the research and provides you with the detailed product information required to make educated and compassionate consumer decisions.
Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine This is a must-see site for anyone wanting reliable, factual information about various animal-oriented issues, such as animal testing. In PCRM's own words they are: "Doctors and laypersons working together for compassionate and effective medical practice, research, and health promotion." PCRM has worked for years to educate the public and push for change in such settings as medical school labs, pharmaceutical companies, and so on. They've been instrumental in showing, time and time again, that testing drugs on animals to determine their safety for people just DOESN'T WORK. Not convinced? Can you say: Vioxx? Bextra? Thalidomide?
FurIsDead.com This is a must-see web site for anyone who is already compassionate enough
to know that fur is wrong, but also for anyone even THINKING about buying or
wearing fur. They have a lot of information about the fur trade and its inherent
cruelty and brutality, updates on public figures who wear fur, and lots more.
PETA [People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals] If you care about animals and their welfare, PETA is a great place to go for general information, current news, updates on pending cases and issues, etc. A lot of people are misinformed and/or brainwashed about PETA, which is a shame because, in fact, PETA has done more than almost any other animal-rights organization to help animals. Please also take a look at their excellent links page for more resources, and purchase some merchandise from their online store.
VegetarianVitamin.com FINALLY! A place that sells nothing but vegetarian/vegan-safe vitamins,
supplements, and herbal formulas. No need to scrutinize each label, hoping
not to find any animal-based products!
Vegetarian Resource Group If you're a vegetarian/vegan, or if you're thinking about becoming
one (good for you!), the VRG is a great source of information, recipes,
and more.
VeganEssentials.com A great resource for vegan products ranging from footwear to cosmetics,
gelatin to candles, and lots more. Definitely worth a look!
Susan's Vegetarian Bookmarks WOW! That's the best way to describe this unbelievably comprehensive list
of vegetarian/vegan links. If you can't find what you're looking for here,
odds are it doesn't exist.
Heal the Bay Heal the Bay has been working hard since the '80s to clean up and protect Santa Monica
Bay. Their success has in large part been due to their philosophy of offering help to
pollution offenders rather than threatening them with lawsuits. Definitely a very worthwhile
organization.
Toys for Pets We only recently found out about this organization, but we're so impressed that we immediately
added its link. This non-profit organization was started by teenager Chris M. Janderwski; its objective
is to raise funds to buy new toys, food, treats, and grooming supplies for the homeless animals at
shelters across America. Considering all the bad news we hear about teenagers these days,
it's really refreshing to learn about one whose goal is to help homeless animals.
Animal Liberation Front The ALF is feared by some, revered by others. In the fight to liberate animals from the horrors inflicted on them by humans, the ALF is unparalelled in its determination. If you're looking for a nurturing environment to discuss animal rights, please visit the ALF forum.
Common Foods That Are Harmful Or Even Fatal to Dogs Lace to Leather has put together this handy page of common foods that can be harmful to dogs. We all know about chocolate being bad for dogs, but did you know about tomatoes? avocados? grapes? onions?
Alley Cat Allies Alley Cat Allies is the national nonprofit clearinghouse for information on feral and stray cats. For more than a decade Alley Cat Allies has advocated Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) - the most humane and effective method to reduce feral cat populations. Alley Cat Allies is dedicated to advocating for nonlethal methods to reduce outdoor cat populations. Alley Cat Allies envisions the time when TNR and other nonlethal control measures for managing outdoor cat populations are accepted as the standard.

Mozilla.org Treat yourself to a really GREAT browser! Mozilla.org is home to several browsers, including Mozilla and Firefox. They have features other browsers haven't stolen...er, thought of!, yet, such as tabbed browsing (which lets you access many different sites at once, while only having one instance of the browser open), plus pop-up blocker. But Mozilla is more than just a browser. It also contains a built-in suite of other Internet utilities, such as e-mail and a newsreader. Firefox, on the other hand, is a standalone browser, so if you're not looking for a suite of Internet utilities, compact and very fast Firefox would be great for you. If you're tired of using the crappy, insecure browser your crappy, insecure OS came with, choose one of the open-source Mozilla browsers now. For a visual example of some of Mozilla's features, please read this page.
Why I hate Microsoft As it says on this web site, this is "A personal, lengthy, but highly articulate outburst" against Micro$oft. What impresses me is that the author has taken the time (lots and lots of it, judging by the length of what he's written!) to really delve into why M$ sucks as badly as it does. He doesn't just leave it at "M$ sucks and all their products suck..." In fact, some of what he's written may be a bit too technically-oriented for some non-geek types, but even so it's a great read. This is a must-see site for anyone interested in really understanding why Microsoft/Windows products should be shunned in favor of other products.
AnyBrowser.org Thinking people realize that not everyone uses the bloated, crash-prone, feature-lacking browser that may have come with their operating system (if they're unlucky enough to be using a certain bloated, crash-prone OS). Therefore, thoughtful web site designers make sure that their sites are accessible--and correctly viewable--by visitors using ANY browser. This site contains information on the 'any browser' campaign, along with HTML code and icons you can use on your own web pages to show your support for this idea.
Linux.org Linux is a UNIX-like operating system that can be obtained for free or at very low cost. Unlike the bloated, crash-prone, proprietary OS many people have been led to believe is their only choice, Linux is not only faster and more secure, but it is ENTIRELY customizable. If you're a programmer you can dive in and make changes as you please to any or all parts of the operating system. If you're not a programmer and have no desire to learn how to be one, you can still customize Linux to a much higher degree than you're used to with your current OS. And if you're accustomed to--and have grudgingly accepted as 'the norm'--having to buy extra software to handle everyday tasks, you'll be surprised at how much Linux includes by default. For example, there are full-featured office suites, graphics/image programs, and Internet utilities. Best of all, you won't have to continually spend money upgrading your operating system every couple of years!
LinuxJournal.com Linux Journal is one of the oldest magazines devoted strictly to the Linux operating system and its users. Its online companion, LinuxJournal.com, offers a wide variety of articles and resources for the Linux community.
Ubuntu Linux We've tried many distributions of Linux over the years, dating back to the earliest version back in the early '90s, but rarely have we been as impressed as we are with Ubuntu. According to its web site, "Ubuntu" is an ancient African word, meaning "humanity to others". Ubuntu also means "I am what I am because of who we all are". The Ubuntu Linux distribution brings the spirit of Ubuntu to the software world. What we like about it is that it's easy--and GUI-driven--enough for Linux novices to use, but it's also a standard Linux with a huge set of tools for us command-line types to use. You can download the software for free or you can request that they mail you a set of CDs--also free, by the way! They don't even charge for shipping. If you're unsure about making the switch to Ubuntu, you can use the "Live CD" to try it out without installing anything on your hard drive. We highly recommend Ubuntu.
TuxMagazine Are you new to Linux? Or thinking about making the switch? Then this site is right up your alley! They're geared toward the truly new Linux user, with advice and instructions that won't leave a newbie feeling overwhelmed. You can download each month's issue or have it sent to you via e-mail. Definitely worth looking at if you're a Linux newbie.
Linux Gazette Their mission is to "make Linux just a little more fun!" And they do. This is a very helpful web site, whether you're new to Linux or an old hand at it. They also have some clever Linux-themed merchandise at their online store.
SpamItBack.com This is great! This site has free software you can download that will intelligently send spam back to the spammers who send it. Give them a taste of their own disgusting, annoying, intrusive medicine! (NOTE: There's only a WinDoze version AFAIK.) Do your part to help stomp out spam! Here's a direct link to their download page.
Human Rights Campaign (HRC)
This site is highly recommended for anyone who's concerned about
GLBT equality issues. They have current information on various issues that
impact the GLBT community; they also provide links for things such as e-mailing
politicians.
The Gay Resource The Internet's best resource for the GLBT community. This is a great
resource for everything related to the GLBT community, with links to things
like legal resources, shopping, travel, and a lot more.
Rainbow Depot This site offers a wide variety of GLBT merchandise, ranging from adult items and auto accessories to candles and greeting cards. The company is gay-owned and gay-operated, and we recommend checking it out.
roygbivhome.com Okay, you're probably wondering, as we were, what the heck does "roygbiv"
mean? Simple: [R]ed [O]range [Y]ellow [G]reen [B]lue [I]ndigo [V]iolet, as
in the colors of the rainbow. This site carries very unique furniture in the
colors of the pride rainbow. Take a look!
GayHealth.com This site provides a wealth of information on health issues for the GLBT
community. Honestly, most of the info is just as applicable to straights
as to gays.
Our 'Just for Fun' page Spend a little time on our activities page! What can you do there? You can see the many, changing faces of Michael Jackson through the years, send and receive free e-cards, look up words in a dictionary or a thesaurus, read horoscopes, find out what happened on this day in history, learn a new word every day, play a puzzling card trick and much more. It's great for killing a little time...and addictive enough that you'll want to keep coming back for more.
SA Wedding Gifts Looking for a truly unique gift for a wedding or anniversary? Then take a look at these personalized keepsake boxes! They're beautiful and practical.
FlagShag.com This site has an amazing assortment of flags from around the world on t-shirts. They also have other designs, such as state seals. We highly recommend this site if you're looking for products with flags on them.
15q.net I stumbled upon this site and was amazed at what I found--they have photos of license plates for TONS of places (US and foreign) dating back to 1969. It's a fun trip down memory lane to look back at license plate styles from states you've lived in at various times.
JibJab.com During the 2004 elections, this site had the most hilarious cartoon which lampooned both Kerry and Bush. No matter which "side" you were on, you couldn't help but laugh at its portrayal of BOTH candidates. Now they have other, equally hilarious cartoons, such as "Matzah!" If you're in need of a good chuckle, pay a visit to JibJab.com, or stop by their store to purchase some of their clever merchandise.
James Randi Educational Foundation In case you don't already know, James Randi is famous for debunking things, such as "psychic" and "paranormal" phenomena. He has a $1,000,000 fund set up with a standing offer for anyone who can PROVE, under proper observation, evidence of any paranormal, supernatural or occult power or event. To date, there have been no qualified takers.
Inside Out T-shirts Inside Out T-Shirts features a unique and growing collection of funny, original and thought-provoking designs on t-shirts, posters, buttons, stickers, calendars, mousepads, and a wide variety of other quality products and gift items.
The Smoking Gun If you've never visited The Smoking Gun, you owe it to yourself to do so now! They have an amazing archive of documents--actual, real documents such as mug shots, police reports, death certificates, etc.--that you have to see to believe.
Jump the Shark Don't know what's meant by "jumping the shark"? Well, here you go: It's that defining moment in a television series when the show stumbles and begins its downfall. The term "jump the shark" comes from the "Fonzie jumps a shark" episodes on Happy Days--and if you remember that show, you're sure to agree that it was all downhill from there!
AwfulPlasticSurgery.com This site is devoted to "the good, bad, and ugly of celebrity plastic surgery." It's one of those guilty pleasures--you don't really WANT to look, but you just can't refrain from taking a peek...or two...
Snopes.com Have you heard some crazy rumor about a new virus, a strange way someone died, or something else that you're just not sure about? Head over to Snopes.com, the "Urban legends reference pages," where you're sure to find info about it and a lot more. In fact, when you receive one of those e-mails warning you about some new virus or imploring you to write to some kid who's dying and
wants words of encouragement, check Snopes first...you'll save yourself a lot of embarrassment!
Glass Roots Oh my! Browse this web site and you're going to be amazed at the beautiful glass-blown items they carry. This is a great place to find unique gifts for someone else or to treat yourself.
TheRibbonRevolution.com This site has "ribbons for the rest of us"--in other words, for people looking for something other than the usual, run-of-the-mill ribbons (like the yellow pro-war ones). Definitely a good idea!
CrazyFads.com This is so much fun! Take a stroll down memory lane as you relive some of the crazy, silly, often downright ridiculous fads of decades gone by.
DANCE-RELATED SITES
Cynthia King Dance Studio Yay! At last, a source for vegan ballet shoes! At this time they're only making flats, but if they see enough interest they'll probably start selling vegan pointe shoes, too. Please visit this site if you're a vegan, vegetarian, animal rights person, or just a compassionate consumer and let them know you appreciate what they're doing. Visit this page if you're interested in seeing and/or ordering their vegan ballet shoes.
Dance.net It would be hard to find a more comprehensive dance community than this! Whether you're involved in ballet, modern, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, or most other forms of dance, you'll feel right at home here. There are message boards for all varieties of dance, plus some other interests, too, such as photography and acting. You can also buy DDN logo-ware at the Dance.net shop. We highly recommend this site!
Behind Barres Classical Ballet Class Music Behind Barres is a unique series of CD recordings of ballet music for studio teachers and students created by Judy Rice and Paul Lewis. This site also has DVDs on topics such as beginning pointe work.
American Ballet Theatre We love this site! Obviously, it's ABT's site, so they have a lot of info about ABT such as performance schedules, but there's so much more. For example, their outstanding, illustrated dance dictionary. Even seasoned dancers will find something of interest here.
The Perfect Pointe I am absolutely crazy about this site. Some of its features include a wonderful collection of photographs and other items, such as print ads, for old pointe shoes, including some brands that have long since disappeared. It also has a pointe shoe suggestion form you can use to help guide you if you're unsure which pointe shoe is best for you. An excellent site all around.
Ballet Talk for Dancers This is a very nice message board community for ballet students, dancers,
parents, and balletomanes in general. There are sections specifically for
adult dancers--including beginners--which is really nice for those of us who
started dancing as adults.
If you're interested in having a link to your site, or any site that you
think would be a nice fit here, added to this page please submit your request to
AddLink. We will review the
suggested site and add it if we think it's appropriate for our audience.
PLEASE NOTE that we will not add sites that are browser-specific. We firmly
believe in the Any Browser Campaign
and do not support sites that program for a specific browser (specifically the crappy,
insecure one included with the crappy, insecure OS a lot of people use). If you're
using that awful browser, do yourself a favor and switch to one (or more) of
the Mozilla/Firefox line of browsers. We
promise, you'll be glad you did once you realize what you've been missing!
