ANTI-OBAMA, PRO-HILLARY CLINTON, ANTI-BUSH MERCHANDISE
BurnBush2004.com
This is the site of a fellow anti-Bu$her and it has lots of clever designs. Please stop by his shop and take a look around; if you're anti-$hrub you're sure to find something you like.

NBY First Amendment Shoppe
We really like this site! Great designs, lots of imagination and, most importantly, ANTI-Bush! While we'd love to sell you our designs, we do hope you'll also take a look at this very clever web site and send some business their way, too.

We like this site, although they're supporting Obama and we're more of the Clinton type. :) But they're definitely anti-Bush, and that's good enough for me! They're still pretty new but are adding designs all the time. If you're looking for merchandise for the discriminating Democrat, pop on over and have a look!

ANTI-OBAMA, PRO-HILLARY CLINTON, POLITICAL, AND ANTI-"RIGHT" SITES
HillaryClintonForum.net
This is my favorite site! It started out early in 2008 as a safe haven for intelligent discussion about Hillary Clinton, without the presence of Obamabots spewing their standard, contrived Obamabot rhetoric. It's turned into much more than that, however, as it's grown to include calls to action, planning and strategizing for various events, and brainstorming on how to keep the delusional, unqualified, downright frightening Barack Hussein Obama out of the White House. Please drop in and join us!

PLEASE visit this site! There are petitions you can sign if you're one of the millions of Americans who see BushCo for what it is--a bunch of lying, deceitful scumbags--and want to see him/them removed from office. There's plenty of information, including dates and locations of upcoming protests.

US Troops Killed in Iraq
Now that the lying deserter will be in office for another four miserable years, I think we should all take a moment to reflect on the THOUSANDS of people dying needlessly in Iraq thanks to him. As I write this (on 01/13/06), 2,214 US troops have died...so far. I hope the pathetic idiots who voted for this scumbag will at least have a tiny pang of guilt over these needless deaths. But probably not...after all, they supported a deserter over a war hero and, if that wasn't enough, they even tried to discredit Kerry's service record. That's pretty pathetic when you stop and think about it--they support a deserter and try to discredit a war hero. Go figure. I guess that's an example of what being a right-wing nutcase does to one's brain.

Program on International Policies
This site has an astonishing assortment of facts that will make your jaw drop. Take a look at their stats on what Republican supporters of Bu$h THINK he supports vs what he ACTUALLY supports and what they BELIEVE is true vs what is ACTUALLY true. One Thousand Reasons NOT to vote for Bush
We're aware that the election is over, but the PLETHORA of reasons not to support the deserting liar seem more important than ever now. Sure, it's too late to do anything about the outcome of the election, but the tons of accurate information, including source links, found on this site are important and deserve to be seen. And, as always, we think it's UNPATRIOTIC to support someone who not only used his daddy's influence to avoid being shipped overseas during the Vietnam war, but even WITH THAT privilege he went AWOL. If you're a REAL veteran and you voted for the lying deserter, how do you live with yourself?

Planned Parenthood
Don't be fooled by the right-wing rhetoric against Planned Parenthood! They'd have you believe that Planned Parenthood exists for no other reason than to coerce women into having abortions. Of course this is utter nonsense, but--believe it or not!--there really are people who are gullible enough to buy into it. In truth, Planned Parenthood offers many services that have absolutely NOTHING to do with abortion, such as: prenatal care, adoption referrals, sex education, health care for men, women, and teenagers, parenting classes and workshops, and more.

ANIMAL RIGHTS, ANTI-HUNTING, VEGETARIAN/VEGAN, ENVIRONMENT
Downbound.com
The name Downbound signifies an ideological movement down the corporate ladder, down the food chain, and down to earth. Globalization policies, corporate power, and consumer complicity all contribute to a world that seems to ignore human rights, animal rights, the environment, and numerous other concerns. Downbound stands firmly in favour of alternatives to abusive labour conditions, animal exploitation, and environmentally unsustainable practices. All of our products are fair labour, vegan, and as environmentally friendly as possible. Downbound does the research and provides you with the detailed product information required to make educated and compassionate consumer decisions.

PCRM has worked for years to educate the public and push for change in such settings as medical school labs, pharmaceutical companies, and so on. They've been instrumental in showing, time and time again, that testing drugs on animals to determine their safety for people just DOESN'T WORK. Not convinced? Can you say: Vioxx? Bextra? COMPUTER-RELATED
Mozilla.org
Treat yourself to a really GREAT browser! Mozilla.org is home to several browsers, including Mozilla and Firefox. They have features other browsers haven't stolen...er, thought of!, yet, such as tabbed browsing (which lets you access many different sites at once, while only having one instance of the browser open), plus pop-up blocker. But Mozilla is more than just a browser. It also contains a built-in suite of other Internet utilities, such as e-mail and a newsreader. Firefox, on the other hand, is a standalone browser, so if you're not looking for a suite of Internet utilities, compact and very fast Firefox would be great for you. If you're tired of using the crappy, insecure browser your crappy, insecure OS came with, choose one of the open-source Mozilla browsers now. For a visual example of some of Mozilla's features, please read this page.

Why I hate Microsoft
As it says on this web site, this is "A personal, lengthy, but highly articulate outburst" against Micro$oft. What impresses me is that the author has taken the time (lots and lots of it, judging by the length of what he's written!) to really delve into why M$ sucks as badly as it does. He doesn't just leave it at "M$ sucks and all their products suck..." In fact, some of what he's written may be a bit too technically-oriented for some non-geek types, but even so it's a great read. This is a must-see site for anyone interested in really understanding why Microsoft/Windows products should be shunned in favor of other products.

Linux.org
Linux is a UNIX-like operating system that can be obtained for free or at very low cost. Unlike the bloated, crash-prone, proprietary OS many people have been led to believe is their only choice, Linux is not only faster and more secure, but it is ENTIRELY customizable. If you're a programmer you can dive in and make changes as you please to any or all parts of the operating system. If you're not a programmer and have no desire to learn how to be one, you can still customize Linux to a much higher degree than you're used to with your current OS. And if you're accustomed to--and have grudgingly accepted as 'the norm'--having to buy extra software to handle everyday tasks, you'll be surprised at how much Linux includes by default. For example, there are full-featured office suites, graphics/image programs, and Internet utilities. Best of all, you won't have to continually spend money upgrading your operating system every couple of years!

Ubuntu Linux
We've tried many distributions of Linux over the years, dating back to the earliest version back in the early '90s, but rarely have we been as impressed as we are with Ubuntu. According to its web site, "Ubuntu" is an ancient African word, meaning "humanity to others". Ubuntu also means "I am what I am because of who we all are". The Ubuntu Linux distribution brings the spirit of Ubuntu to the software world. What we like about it is that it's easy--and GUI-driven--enough for Linux novices to use, but it's also a standard Linux with a huge set of tools for us command-line types to use. You can download the software for free or you can request that they mail you a set of CDs--also free, by the way! They don't even charge for shipping. PLEASE NOTE that we will not add sites that are browser-specific. We firmly believe in the Any Browser Campaign and do not support sites that program for a specific browser (specifically the crappy, insecure one included with the crappy, insecure OS a lot of people use). If you're using that awful browser, do yourself a favor and switch to one (or more) of the Mozilla/Firefox line of browsers. We promise, you'll be glad you did once you realize what you've been missing!
